2 weeks into RS22

My name is Nell and two weeks ago I joined RS22 as an Account Manager.

Before joining, I spent two years working for a Penetration Testing company, where I learnt a strong understanding of the Cyber Industry and more importantly the importance of securing your business no matter the size. Aswell as this, I’ve always been a people person. I love getting to know people, understanding their business and building strong, genuine relationships that go beyond simply making a sale.

After two years at a vendor, I was ready to broaden my cyber security knowledge and take on a new challenge. Joining RS22 felt like a fantastic opportunity to build my current experience as well as learning about a much wider range of Cybersecurity solutions, vendors and services.

Already, being a sponge, I have already learnt so much, thanks to such a strong team around me. Everyone at RS22 has been incredibly welcoming, supportive and patient. I have loved getting to know everyone and watching how the business runs. There has certainly been a lot to take in but having such a knowledgeable and friendly team around me has made the transition a lot more smooth.

Meeting our lovely vendors and customers has definitely been one of my favourite parts so far. Like I said I’m a real people person, so I’ve loved putting faces to names, getting to know people and hearing about their businesses and what matters to them. I am really excited to keep developing those relationships.

I’ve also been getting stuck into training and learning more about RS22’s wider portfolio. From email security to social engineering and our different vendor solutions, there’s been plenty to get my head around.

Two weeks in, I’ve already met some incredible people, learnt a huge amount and had a really positive start to life at RS22. I’m really excited to build on my knowledge while getting to know more of our customers, vendors and build genuine relationships with potential customers. For me, it’s about getting to know people, understanding their business and finding ways we can genuinely help. I’m really looking forward to seeing where those relationships take me and what the future holds at RS22.
