RS22 are a proud shirt sponsor for the Chasetown Under 13’s football team.

RS22 have made a commitment to the Chasetown U13s for the next two years as part of our links to the local community.

We wish the team every success in the upcoming season and look forward to cheering them on from the sidelines.

The advice to the young players from RS22 founder Rich Smith, after his own career playing both Saturday and Sunday League football was an honest summary of the values that are found both on and off the pitch.

“Never give up until you run out of time.” Rich said.  “You haven’t lost a match until the final whistle blows.”

“Also, if there’s a teammate in a better position than you, give them the ball. You’re part of a team and that always comes first.”

When asked how football shaped his approach to business, Rich said “Do what you’re good at.  Roy Keane was once told by Brian Clough, ‘You can run, you can control the ball, and you can pass.  Just do those 3 things.’  And he made a pretty good career out of that.”
